Consul General Participates in the “One Million Oak Tree Planting” Campaign

During his recent visit to Gali Ali Beg Waterfall, U.S. Consul General Rob Waller, Soran Mayor Halgurd Sheikh Najeeb, and Omer Bradosti, the founder of the “One Million Oak Tree Planting” project, planted 10 oak trees for a greener and better ecosystem in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region (IKR). Oak trees comprise the majority of the total forest cover in the IKR.
