Consul General Rob Waller visited the border crossing at Faysh Khabur, where he was shown around by Border Crossing Director Shawkat Berbehary. From there, the group traveled to the Ibrahim Khalil border complex, where Consul General Waller toured the impressive food and product safety laboratories that insure the quality of imported goods. Streamlining import procedures is key to growing the Iraqi Kurdistan Region’s economy.
