State Alumni: Your Global Community

The Department of State supports worldwide networks of alumni of U.S. government exchange programs that enable alumni to stay connected to and network with each other long after they return home from their U.S. exchange program. The Iraqi Alumni program is a growing and active network of more than 6,000 Iraqis. Through their own initiatives and with support from the U.S. Embassy and the Department of State, Iraqi alumni stay in touch to alumni from their U.S. programs, connect with other alumni in Iraq and around the world, carry out community service programs at home, and get support for life-long efforts to build bridges of friendship and understanding between the Iraqi and American people.

Iraqi alumni of the U.S. exchange programs listed below can learn more about how to stay connected with other Iraqi alumni by contacting the U.S. Embassy Alumni Coordinator at [] and by visiting the Department of State online global community of Alumni at  Current alumni can also visit the Iraqi Alumni Facebook pages listed to the right of this page.
