The Iraqi Ministry of Health has confirmed cases of COVID-19 within Iraq.
On July 17, the Government of Iraq announced that airports would reopen to regularly scheduled flights to and from Iraq beginning July 23, per a decision by the Higher Committee for Health and National Safety. Airlines may begin offering regularly scheduled flights on that day. Travelers should visit airline websites or contact airline ticket offices for specific flight information. Departing passengers will be required to comply with airport and airline COVID-19 screening procedures.
Prior to the return of scheduled service, Qatar Airways is offering a special flight on July 22 from Baghdad to Doha and onward destinations in the U.S. For more information and to book a ticket, please visit www.QatarAirways.com.
