When making an appointment, please ensure that everyone coming to the Embassy is listed on your appointment. Individuals whose names are not included in the appointment will not be admitted to the International Zone and cannot come to the Embassy. This includes children.
The Consular Section is located on the U.S. Embassy compound on Al Kindi Street in the International Zone in Baghdad. Please enter through the Consular entrance on Al Kindi Street. Note that weapons are not allowed in the Consular waiting room and no parking is available.

The Consular Section does not accept phone calls about visa cases, and the American Citizen Services office cannot answer visa questions. If you have questions about a visa to the United States, please contact one of our visa units.
The Consular Section accepts credit cards in addition to cash (USD) for payment of all service fees except the nonimmigrant visa (MRV) application fee.
