Passport services and citizenship claims are available in the Consular Section of U.S. Embassy Baghdad by appointment only. To make an appointment with the Consular Section of U.S. Consulate General Erbil, please click here. If you wish to apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad for your child, you must contact BAGHDADCRBA@state.gov or ErbilACS@State.gov.  Do not make an appointment for a passport or you will be turned away.

Most U.S. passport applications require at least two weeks processing time.  Please plan your travel accordingly.
